"Awesome product at a good price. I had it installed in my Ethan Allen entertainment center in one afternoon. Now it's cool as a cucumber even with an Xbox 360, a DTV DVR, a Sony ES receiver and a DVD changer. Thank you!"
"I got it Fri. and installed it same day. It's great... My Xbox 360 manual tells me to not put it in the cabinet and I did anyways. With the fans in there it doesn't even get warm."
"Once I made the decision to go with the TempraCool
system, I had the product within 3 days without paying an outrageous
shipping charge. The installation was very straightforward and
quick. The components are MUCH COOLER (at least 20 degrees) with the
help of four fans. They're also very quiet and cannot be heard
behind the cabinet door. I
would definitely use YampaNet's solution again!"
"I recently purchased and set up a new home
theater system including an Onkyo receiver and Comcast DVR box.
Since these were installed in a media cabinet, they were getting
very hot. I found the YampaNet system online and decided to try it.
I ordered the TempraCool Controller plus 4 fans. It arrived quickly
and was very easy to set up and install around my components. It
worked as advertised and I saw an immediate reduction in the heat
buildup. Best of all, it was extremely quiet. While the specs give a
certain db level, I had no idea what that was in real life terms. I
can say it was even quieter than I expected and is virtually silent.
And the customer service was extremely helpful. I can tell that this
is a company that cares about its customers. In closing, I am
extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend YampaNet to
anyone looking for a simple and inexpensive solution that really
works."
Today's components run at much higher temperatures. You name it - Stereo, DVR, TiVo, Xbox, Home Theater overheating - all are common place. Many of the components are always-on and produce a great amount of heat. Cooling is even more important when components are confined to small stereo cabinet and home theater cabinet environments. Many Audio Video (AV), stereo and home theater manufacturers, like Onkyo, warn about excessive heating, and like Yamaha, recommend a cooling system. DVRs and TiVos are especially troublesome because they run extra hot.
Don't get caught up spending time and wasting money trying to build your own homemade cooling system, or buying something inferior when you can get the most cost-effective solution right here. You spent a lot on your AV/Home Theater system - don't put it at risk.
